LOTS OF NEWS! Hello people of the world. The Howling Owl nest has been battered with great news over the past few days so I shall attempt to condense it. First up, big congratulations to Spectres for winning Artrocker Magazine’s Unsigned Band of the year competition! For once they didn’t have to double check that they didn’t mean Spector, because Spector somehow ARE signed! Have you ever tried to sign a shit? Its not great. Read the article here!  Winning this means that they will be playing 1-2-3-4 Festival in Shoreditch which has an amazing line up including Bo Ningen, Iceage and Crocodiles just for starters!  Next up, more Artrocker love, for the label this time! They interviewed us for this feature here, which is very kind of them; Bristol is starting to get its deserved recognition! Read those tasty words here. Finally, for now, we can mention the Crypt gig which was definitely top news up until yesterday. It’s sold out. We are very humbled at the fact that we have sold double the hoped amount of online tickets already (and this was before the Artrocker and Drunken Werewolf features!) meaning that its a bit up in the air as to what is still available! There will probably be some tickets on the door, but when I say some imagine a sum that results in a low number. Basically if you missed out then get to the door before 7pm…or enter this competition on Drunken Werewolf for a chance to win two tickets! Right thats enough words.
